The territory If Umbria is the green heart of Italy, Assisi its spiritual heart, then Bettona is the Etruscan balcony from which to admire it, immersed in the silvery hills of Umbria.
Our company is based in the municipality of Bettona, at the foot of the Monti Martani hills. These hills are home to our olive groves, which extend to the old abbey of S. Felice at Giano dell'Umbria and the medieval village of Collemancio.
Our olive groves cover about 6.5 hectares at an altitude ranging between 300 and 400m, where climate and soil conditions are ideal for obtaining an exceptionally high quality olive oil. The slopes are exposed to the south, getting plenty of sun, and the trees are planted on stony ground. This guarantees optimal draining for the trees and favourable conditions for the ripening of the olives.
