San Felice Monocultivar
Decimi's San Felice oil is the best monovarietal
extra virgin olive oil in the world!
On 25th November, Rome hosted the annual
award-giving of 'The Best 20'; the twenty extra virgin olive oils
selected by Marco Oreggia in 'Flos Olei 2011', the international guide
to the best extra virgin olive oils in the world. An international
competition open to the top companies in the olive oil sector leads
to the selection of the oils to be included in the Guide; oils which
originate from 42 selected countries in 5 continents. The resulting
guidebook is a useful reference for discerning consumers, and also
for those working in the olive oil sector, on the national or international
scene. In the section for 'monocultivar' oils, of all the oils tasted
by the international panel of experts, the San Felice oil produced
by Decimi of Bettona, Umbria, was judged the Best Lightly Fruity Monovarietal
Extra Virgin Olive Oil in the world.
